Meeting to discuss Roscommon GAA Centre of Excellence

A special meeting of Roscommon Municipal District will be he held tomorrow, Thursday, December 7th at 3.30 p.m. to discuss a planning application by Roscommon GAA for the planned new Dermot Earley Centre of Excellence.
The centre, planned for the Racecourse Road, Roscommon, will include three new full-size grass pitches with floodlighting, two new astro turf pitches and warm up areas, a seated spectator terrace, ball stops, a ball wall area, a perimeter walking/running track, and a new amenity building.
A proposed material contravention of the Roscommon Town Local Area Plan 2014-2020 will be discussed by councillors at the meeting.
