Neighbouring Roscommon GAA clubs to put rivalry aside for special day

Eddie Creaton and Louise Jordan who are getting married this afternoon (Friday).

They may have been rivals on county intermediate football final day last October, but Castlerea St. Kevin’s and Éire Óg will come together this afternoon (Friday) for a very special occasion.

Castlerea St. Kevin’s player, Eddie Creaton, winner of a county and Connacht intermediate football championship medal with the club last season, will marry Louise Jordan in Loughglynn this afternoon before the happy couple, family and friends make their way to Westport for the wedding reception.

Louise is from a family steeped in Éire Óg GAA, but the rivalry between the two clubs will be put to one side — for this weekend at least!

Castlerea St. Kevin’s has wished “legend” Eddie and Louise all the best on their big day alongside every good wish for health and happiness in the future.
