A Roscommon camogie player starred for UL as they progressed through to the Purcell Cup final.
Oran’s Orla Connolly lined out at corner back for UL as they defeated Maynooth University 2-11 to 1-8 in the Purcell Cup semi final.
Connolly impressed for the winners as she produced a crucial hook in the second half to prevent Maynooth University cutting their deficit to just three points with 50 minutes on the clock, which can be viewed here.
UL will face Queen’s University in the final this Sunday after the Belfast side battled past UCC in extra time.
