They will send two teams to compete in the first Rian Sheridan 7’s Memorial Tournament. On Saturday, May 17th, Renvyle GAA will be hosting a day of football, friendship and remembrance for Rian, who sadly died in March 2024 at the age of 25.

All funds raised will be donated to the Irish Road Victims Association. IRVA is a non-governmental organisation that provides free information and support to those bereaved or injured by road traffic collisions, and works to reduce dangers on our roads.
Throw in for the tournament is at 11 a.m. and will take place between the pitches in Clifden and Letterfrack.
The semi-finals and final will take place in Letterfrack followed by music for the evening in Veldon’s Seafarer.
Renvyle GAA Club stated: “This 7-a-side tournament is a tribute to his love of sport and his incredible spirit.”
“We hope to see plenty of support out for this weekend and to raise money for this remarkable charity. If anyone is available to volunteer on this weekend as there is lots to be done, please reach out to any committee member.”
