Two Roscommon clubs have settled on their new managers for 2024.

The Roscommon Herald understands that former county minor football manager, Enda Nugent, will be ratified as the new manager of St. Dominic's.

Nugent, who was part of Jerome Stack's management team in St. Brigid's, takes over from Tomás Gilleran who led St. Dominic's to the 2022 intermediate football championship title.

Meanwhile, 2022 senior football champions, Strokestown, have stayed local with the appointment of former player, Pearse McGinley, as their new manager.

McGinley, part of the team that won the 2002 Roscommon Senior Football Championship, takes over from John Rogers.

He was part of the club's junior team management team last season, one that oversaw the 'Town reach the Tansey Cup final and the quarter-finals of the Junior A Football Championship.
