Roscommon duo come up short in All Ireland final

Roscommon handballers Fiona Tully and Alanna Coggeran were defeated in their All-Ireland 60x30 Softball Championship Senior Doubles Final.
Tully and Coggeran were beaten 21-12 21-5 by Limerick pairing Martina McMahon and Aisling Shanahan.
Tully was aiming to secure her second All Ireland title this year as she claimed the All-Ireland Ladies 4-Wall Senior Singles title for the first time back in March.
Meanwhile, Coggeran was appearing in her first All Ireland final at adult level.
The duo defeated Noelle Dowling and Emer Barron of Kilkenny at the semi final stage but the reigning champions denied Tully and Coggeran at a sold out Croke Park.
