Roscommon LGFA has unveiled a new partnership with Sligo-based company GOWA Sports Ireland, founded by Noelle Gormley and Louise Ward.
GOWA Sports Ireland will be the official kit supplier for Roscommon LGFA and will provide playing kits and merchandise for Roscommon players and supporters.
The new jersey has the 25 clubs in Roscommon embossed on it, reflecting the legacy of ladies’ football in the county.
“To say we are over the moon with our new jersey would be an understatement. It has been an absolute pleasure working with GOWA Sportswear and Teamwear.
"Roscommon LGFA is delighted to welcome Louise and Noelle, and the GOWA group on board and wish them every success going forward. There will be a county merchandise shop available in the coming weeks,” said Roscommon LGFA Chairperson, Declan Walsh.
Meanwhile, Roscommon intermediate ladies’ football manager, Finbar Egan, has named his team for Sunday’s opening Lidl LGFA Division Two League game against Monaghan at the home of Clann na nGael GAA Club in Johnstown (throw-in at 2 p.m.).
Orla O’Neill, Ria Lennon, Shannon McGuinness and Caoimhe Lennon will make their debuts on the starting 15 as Roscommon look to make a positive start to this year’s campaign.
It has also been confirmed that Jenny Higgins, who has been ruled out of action this season because of injury, will be part of the management team this season.
