Roscommon LGFA players named on AIG HEC All-Star team
Caoimhe Cregg has been named on the AIG HEC All Star team as she helped TU Dublin lift their first O'Connor Cup
Two Roscommon players have been named on the 2026 AIG HEC All-Star team.
Boyle’s Caoimhe Cregg and Aisling Hanly of Kilbride have both been named on the team following their impressive showings with TU Dublin and DCU respectively.
These selections honour the very best performers from the recent AIG HEC Championships.
Cregg is named at wing forward after she helped TU Dublin win their inaugural O’Connor Cup as they defeated a DCU side aiming to secure the title for the fourth consecutive year.
The Boyle clubwoman was instrumental in her side’s run to the final. She kicked 1-2, which included a crucial extra time goal, to help her side beat UCC by a point in the semi final.
Meanwhile, Hanly enjoyed another excellent campaign with DCU as she finished top scorer in her side’s final defeat.
The Kilbride clubwoman kicked 2-1 in that decider while she also slotted 1-3 in DCU’s semi final win over UL.
The winners will receive their awards at a ceremony at The Bonnington Dublin Hotel on Friday March 27th.
