Roscommon Masters progress through to All Ireland final

Roscommon’s Masters footballers are just one win away from retaining their All Ireland Plate title.
The winners are tantalisingly close to retaining their All Ireland Plate title as they secured a 2-13 to 2-8 win over Monaghan in Edgeworthstown.
Roscommon will face Meath in the final after the Royal County overcame Armagh, who Roscommon defeated in last year’s final.
Masters football has enjoyed a steady rise in recent years as Roscommon reached the Mick Loftus Cup final — the equivalent of the ‘A’ final – in 2024 before securing the All Ireland Plate title last year.
