One of Roscommon’s new recruits under Davy Burke in 2024 has been ruled out for the remainder of the intercounty season through injury.
Evan Flynn from Tulsk has picked up a serious shoulder injury and won’t see game time for the Rossies again this season.
Flynn made his senior competitive debut during the FBD in January before playing some of Roscommon’s earlier games in Division One of the National Football League.
Cathal Heneghan will miss the Connacht semi-final against Mayo after picking up a knee injury, although Roscommon management are hopeful that the Michael Glaveys player could return for the All-Ireland Series.
Keith Doyle and Ben O’Carroll have resumed full training and will be available for selection against Kevin McStay’s men on Sunday week.
