A County Roscommon player was in hot scoring form for his club over the weekend, amassing an impressive 3-13 in a senior league game.
Roscommon Gaels defeated neighbours Fuerty by 4-18 to 2-10 in the O'Rourke Cup on Friday evening where ace forward, Peter Gillooly, could do no wrong in front of the posts.
The county player is no stranger to lucrative scoring hauls, having hit 3-2 for the Gaels during their first-half demolition of Boyle during the opening round of last year's senior football championship.
Gillooly's tally of 3-13 last weekend beats the 2-12 scored by St. Michael's forward, Fiachra Henry, in last year's Junior A football championship final.
