There was a strong Roscommon presence involved in Sunday’s Connacht LGFA Senior final.

Pádraig Pearses’ Aaron Clogher took charge of the meeting between Galway and Mayo in Heartland Credit Union Páirc Seán Mac Diarmada.

He was ably assisted by lineswomen Natalie Flanagan (St. Mary's Tulsk) and Sandra Shanagher (Kilbride).

Brendan Clogher, Joe Phelan, Michael Hogarty and Brendan Flynn served as umpires in a game that saw Galway claim a three in a row of Connacht senior titles by defeating Mayo 1-11 to 0-11.
