Roscommon referee to take charge of FBD League final

A County Roscommon referee will take charge of this Sunday's FBD Connacht Senior Football League final between Galway and Mayo at Tuam Stadium.
Dermot Lyons Jnr. from the Castlerea St. Kevin's club will officiate at the big game, which is a dress rehearsal for the Division One League meeting the sides a week later.
Lyons is no stranger to big games, having refereed the 2024 Roscommon senior football final between Pádraig Pearses and Roscommon Gaels.
Roscommon GAA has congratulated Dermot on his appointment, and wished him and his team all the best on the day.
