Roscommon starting 15 announced for Derry game

Roscommon senior football manager Davy Burke has picked his starting 15 for today’s final Allianz League Division One game against table toppers Derry at Celtic Park.

Announced last night, the side shows three changes to the team that were beaten by Kerry in Dr Hyde Park last Sunday.

Conor Hussey, Tadhg O’Rourke and Shane Cunnane make way for Eoin McCormack, Ultan Harney and Patrick Gavin. 

Ciarán Lennon returns after injury to today’s squad, replacing the suspended Cathal Heneghan.

Despite the fact that Derry are pretty much assured of their place in the league final next weekend, Mickey Harte has named a very strong team.

For any prospect of Roscommon avoiding relegation today, they must beat the Oakleaf county and hope Kerry account for Galway in Killarney. Throw-in is 1.45 p.m..
