Roscommon team named for FBD League opener

The Roscommon team to face Leitrim in the opening round of the FBD League has been named.
Pádraig Pearses’ Caelim Keogh has been selected as captain for the season opener. Meanwhile, Eoin McCormack has been named at full back in what will be his first appearance for the Rossies since the All Ireland quarter final defeat to Armagh in 2024.
Elphin’s Aaron Brady has been selected to start in goal while McCormack will be flanked by Tim Lambe and Mark Richardson.
Caelim Keogh will see Eoin Ward and Ronan Daly line out alongside him in the half back line.
Conor Ryan has been selected to start at centre field alongside Keith Doyle while Dylan Ruane, Cian McKeon and Darragh Heneghan will line out in the half forward line.
Diarmuid Murtagh, Ciaran Lennon and Jack Tumulty have been named on the inside line.
Roscommon’s will face Leitrim tomorrow (Sunday) at 1 p.m. in Orchard Park, Elphin.
