Sharon Ryan Tarmey from St. Croan’s LGFA is part of the 23-strong squad for the games on March 9th and March 16th.

St. Croan’s LGFA has congratulated Sharon on her achievement, adding that it will be a "huge occasion" for Sharon, the club and Roscommon LGFA.

The team will be managed by former Mayo manager, Michael Moyles, alongside Samantha Lambert, Maria Devenney and DJ Collins.

There will also be Roscommon interest in the Ireland Men’s Over-40 and 50 squads who will also play Australia over the same weekends in March.

Former Roscommon and Elphin player, Conor Beirne, is part of the men’s Over-40s, while Declan Woods from Éire Óg GAA Club is part of the Over-50s squad. The latter squad also includes Anthony Carroll from Kilmore as part of the management team.
