Then, 24 hours later, she will pause her wedding celebrations temporarily to tog out in the blue and white of Athleague for the club’s All-Ireland junior club camogie championship final against Granemore from Armagh in Kinnegad.
Family and friends will join Laura on Friday in Kilbegnet Church when she ties the knot with Jonathan Mannion who plies his trade with St. Joseph’s GAA Club.
On Saturday, the attention will turn to Athleague’s attempt to win an All-Ireland camogie title for the first time in the club’s history.
