Strokestown captain Colin Compton has described his side’s 2-13 to 0-15 county final victory over Éire Óg as a “huge relief.” 

Compton, who was named Player of the Match after his side’s memorable win, hailed the impact off the bench as Strokestown withstood a determined Éire Óg challenge.

Compton told the Roscommon Herald that he wants his side to attack the upcoming Connacht Intermediate Championship.
