Henry doubles up at National Community Games finals

A County Roscommon competitor won two medals at the recent Cairn Community Games national finals in Carlow.
Henry Gunn from Elphin was part of the area’s U-13 boys’ rounders team that struck gold, defeating defending champions, Monaleen from Limerick, in the final.
Less than 24 hours later, Henry was back on duty for the track and field finals where he won a bronze medal in the U-12 boys’ ball throw competition.
Two medals at the national finals — a superb achievement for Henry.
