There was strong Roscommon success at Leopardstown recently as Loughglynn were represented on the winner’s podium.

Doctor Steinberg, owned by Loughglynn native Tom Gilligan, maintained his perfect record over hurdles with a comprehensive victory in the Nathaniel Lacy & Partners Solicitors Novice Hurdle at Leopardstown.

After wins at Galway and Navan, the Willie Mullins trained horse dominated once more, when galloping home eight lengths clear in the hands of Paul Townend.

After this latest success, Doctor Steinberg is strongly fancied for the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle over three miles at the Cheltenham Festival.
