Roscommon U-14 camogie team crowned All-Ireland champions
The Roscommon U-14 camogie panel that were crowned All-Ireland champions at the U-14 National Development Programme in Abbotstown on Saturday.
Another All-Ireland title came to County Roscommon over the weekend when the county U-14 camogie team put their best foot forward at the climax of the U-14 National Development Programme in Abbotstown.
A pulsating Sophie Brack Division saw Roscommon and Kildare finish level after extra time, leading to both teams being declared as joint winners on Saturday.
In the group stages, Roscommon had drawn with Waterford before going on to defeat Tyrone and Kerry to set up a cup decider against Kildare.
The afternoon was a celebration of player development, participation and the continued growth of camogie across the country, which saw almost 1,500 players from 28 counties take part.
