Creggs RFC have been represented in the Ireland U-18 Schools squad.

Leo Anic, a student at CBS Roscommon, has been chosen as part of the squad that will face the South Africa U-18 'A' and U-18 sides, and their Georgian counterparts, across three match days between Friday, August 8, and Saturday, August 16.

Meanwhile, Marist College’s Andrew Henson has also been selected for next month’s tests.

Hodge's youngsters have already faced Georgia this year, winning 26-21 when they met at the U-18 Men's Six Nations Festival in Vichy in April. They also bounced back from a 32-24 defeat to Wales with a 38-21 victory over Scotland.

The Connacht Women management team have announced an extended 56-player squad for the upcoming IRFU Women’s Interprovincial Championship.

Creggs RFC are represented through Jemima Adams Verling, Hannah Coen, sisters Ivana and Merisa Kiripati and Siofra Hession. Sarah Purcell, who came through the ranks at Creggs, has also received a call up.

Creagh’s Aoibheann O’Reilly has also been included in the extended squad
