Creggs win big at Connacht Rugby Awards

Creggs Rugby Club have secured the Bank of Ireland Connacht Rugby Club of the Year for the second successive year.
The award is a big boost for a club who continue to grow on and off the field.
In a statement, Creggs RFC expressed their pride in winning this award.
“This is a hugely proud moment for our club and our community. To receive this recognition once was special — to do it back-to-back is an incredible honour and something everyone connected to Creggs RFC can be proud of.
“A sincere thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, committee members, coaches, players, supporters and everyone who contributes to our club week in, week out. Your hard work, commitment and passion are what make achievements like this possible.
“This award belongs to the entire Creggs RFC family. From the youngest players starting out, to those who have served the club for years.
“Thank you to Connacht Rugby for this honour — and thank you to everyone who continues to support our journey.”
Roscommon CBS’ Leo Anic, who previously lined out with Creggs, was named U-19 Men’s Player of the Year.
St. Comán’s Wood Primary School congratulated their past pupil in his success.
“Huge congratulations to our past pupil Leo Anic. Connacht Rugby Under 19 Men’s Player of the Year. A fantastic achievement for Leo and his family.”
Marist College, Athlone were named School of the Year after they retained their Connacht Schools Senior Cup title.
