Three players from Creggs RFC have been selected on the Ireland U-18 Women’s squad for the upcoming Six Nations Festival in Wales.
Jemima Adams Verling, Síofra Hession and Sarah Purcell have been selected by Head Coach, Matt Gill, for the festival which takes place between March 29th and April 6th in Colwyn Bay.
Síofra Hession joins her Creggs team-mates who were part of last year’s squad.
Hession, Adams Verling and Purcell were part of the Connacht U-18 women’s squad that beat Leinster in the Interpro final in Athlone on Sunday week last. Sarah Purcell was the team captain.
The winning squad also included Creggs team-mates Ciara Corrigan, Shauna Walsh, Isabelle Quinn and Merisa Kiripati and Shauna McDermott — the latter, unfortunately, missing the game through injury.
