Six Nations debutant Darragh Murray has returned to the Connacht starting team for their crucial United Rugby Championship (URC) showdown with Ulster tomorrow (Friday).

The Brideswell native, who marked his Six Nations debut with a try against Scotland on Saturday last, has been selected in the second row while his brother Niall is also set to be involved as he is included among the replacements.

Kiltoom native Jack Carty returns at out half while Creagh’s Colm Reilly retains his place at scrum half.

Meanwhile, Bundee Aki, fresh off his IRFU contract extension has been selected to start.

Speaking to Connacht Rugby during the week, Darragh stated the past few days have been memorable but he is now fully focused on helping Connacht secure their fourth win in a row.

“It has been a great week. It was just such a special occasion, It has been brilliant. I took it all in and got back training.”

“It is what we are aiming for now (four wins in a row). We want to keep going. There has been a nice build up. Three wins on the bounce is good going and the lads are putting in the work.”

Connacht will face Ulster at 7.45 p.m. on Friday evening at Affidea Stadium with the game broadcast on Premier Sports 1.
