Moore United has become the maiden winner of Circle K’s FAI Clubs competition, winning €1500 worth of kit for the club.

The competition by Ireland’s leading forecourt and convenience retailer, and title sponsor of the FAI Club Mark Programme, will run until March and give away a total of €30,000 worth of kit and €30,000 in cash, as well as a VIP training experience with players from the Republic of Ireland senior teams.

It is the latest grassroots football initiative from Circle K, linked to the FAI Club Mark Programme that rewards clubs that demonstrate excellence in governance, management, and initiatives to grow grassroots football.

Since the start of the partnership Circle K has invested over €130,000 in clubs across Ireland.

“We are thrilled to announce Moore United FC as the first winner of our club competition. It’s fantastic to see football clubs getting competitive, logging their points and taking home this brand-new Circle K football kit.

“To date, we’ve given over €130,000 to clubs and have seen first-hand the positive impact it has — not just to members, but on the wider communities around them. We’re excited to see Cash for Clubs continue to make a difference over the coming months,” said Ciara Foxton, Managing Director of Circle K Ireland.
