Successful Roscommon GAA and LGFA teams celebrated

It was a day of celebration in Roscommon Racecourse on Tuesday last as members of various Roscommon teams that experienced the joy of winning provincial silverware were celebrated.
The Roscommon U-16 team who have progressed through to an All Ireland final on Wednesday, July 15th were present as were the minor LGFA team who face Down in the All Ireland Minor A semi final on Thursday next in Kingspan Breffni.
The Roscommon minor and U-20 provincial wining sides were also represented on the day.
In a statement Roscommon Racecourse expressed their delight at being able to welcome a string of Connacht winning sides on Tuesday last.
“A historical day for us! We were delighted to have members of our Roscommon GAA and LGFA players along with managers, coaches and Executive members join us last Tuesday. A great haul of silverware to their names in 2026!
“Continued success to everyone. We wish the Roscommon LGFA Intermediate, Minor and U16 girls the best of luck in the All Ireland series and good luck in their forthcoming matches. Thank you for all for joining us.”
