WATCH: All-Ireland winning Roscommon ladies' team bring Mary Quinn Cup West of the Shannon

The victorious All-Ireland winning Roscommon intermediate ladies' footballers have brought the Mary Quinn Cup West of the River Shannon.

At 9 p.m., captain Helena Cummins and vice-captain Caoimhe Lennon, alongside the rest of the panel, walked across the bridge in Athlone.

Hundreds of supporters braved the inclement weather to welcome home their heroines.

The homecoming celebrations will continue in Roscommon Town later on Sunday evening.
