County Roscommon singer releases third single

Roscommon singer Ciara Lawless starts 2024 on a strong note by releasing her third single ‘Where Are Your Wings?’. The song is from her upcoming debut album, due out in April 2024.

Showing a steady rise on the Irish music scene,  the young Taughmaconnell woman who is also a presenter on RosFM, is making waves after a successful run on the festival circuit.

She has not only honed her stage presence but has also become known for her soulful voice and signature flower head crowns, catching the eyes of festival-goers.

“The new song, ‘Where Are Your Wings? is a departure from the folk pop sound and leaning more into a contemporary neo 80’s style. The song is about reconnecting with your inner-child, healing and self-discovery,” she explains.

To coincide with her new release, she is featured on the cover and feature article of the popular Rude Health Magazine for January 2024, which has a print run of 52,000 copies across Ireland and the UK.

Her music journey began at a young age when she started taking classes in acting and singing. She later developed an interest in classical and opera, training at the Academy of Music in Tullamore, where she also competed in national and international competitions.

She earned her singing stripes as a funeral singer, something that she was very proud and honoured to do.

With a tour on the horizon and an album due in April 2024 that is sure to make waves, Ciara Lawless is ready to take centre stage in 2024, solidifying her place as one of Ireland's most promising young musical talents.
