Roscommon radio station inviting community groups to make their own programme

RosFM, Roscommon’s community radio station, is planning to provide all voluntary groups in the local area with a chance to come into studio and make their own radio programme to highlight the work they are doing in the community.

RosFM will provide the studios and the expertise, but the community group will decide on the style, music played and the format of the show.

"It is a great opportunity for community groups to draw attention to the contribution they are making to the local area and to attract new members," said station manager Seamus Duke.
