The ‘Bridges of Athlone’ on exhibition

‘The Bridges of Athlone’, featuring works from photographer Paul Moore and illustrator Conor McHale, is the Luan Gallery’s current boardwalk exhibition.
This exhibition was created with Westmeath Arts, Heritage and Libraries and is supported by Creative Ireland Westmeath.
It shines a light onto the importance of the Athlone bridges and explores the cultural and social histories that connect people to local infrastructure.
Award-winning photographer Paul Moore has been capturing the beauty of Athlone’s bridges and his selected photographs will be on display accompanied by short histories which explain the relevance of the bridges to the town.
