Appeal for driver who fled scene of three-car crash that killed woman (30s) in Limerick

A woman in her 30s has died following a three-car collision on the N24 near Grange West, Boher, Co Limerick.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the collision, which occurred at approximately 11:10pm on Friday.
The sole occupant of a car, a woman in her 30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Her body has been conveyed to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick, where a post-mortem examination will take place in due course. The coroner has been notified.
The sole occupant of another car, a man in his 40s, was conveyed to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life threatening at this time.
Investigating gardaí are seeking to identify the driver of the third car. That driver fled, leaving the vehicle they were driving at the scene.
The N24 between R505 and L1132 remains closed pending technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the N24 near Grange West, Boher, Co Limerick between 10:45pm and 11:30pm on Friday, February 13th, are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
