Students from Elphin Community College Recently who attended the Relove Fashion Finals in the Helix, Dublin.
Transition Year students from Elphin Community College showcased their creativity and innovation on a national stage last week when they travelled to Dublin to compete in the prestigious Relove Fashion Finals. Held in The Helix on Wednesday, April 15th the event brought together some of the most talented young designers from across the country, all championing sustainability through fashion. Elphin Community College was proudly represented by two Transition Year groups, both of whom impressed judges with their originality, teamwork, and commitment to sustainable design. Reaching the national finals is a significant accomplishment in itself, reflecting months of dedication, planning, and creative effort.
One of the Elphin groups was honoured with the Most Innovative Award for the Connacht/Ulster region.
The Relove Fashion competition places a strong emphasis on upcycling and environmental awareness, challenging students to transform pre-loved materials into striking, wearable pieces.
