ulsk’s Lions were in action in their final encounter against Four Roads, at the weekend and the girls produced a fantastic display of camogie, skill, determination and teamwork. There were many players to acknowledge for their exploits, not least goalkeeper Erin Feeney who pulled off some wonderful saves while the Tulsk defence of Aimeé Rose Feeney, Jessie Flynn, Darcy O’Doherty and Helena Cregg stood strong throughout. In midfield, Eloise Mannion, Katie Greene and Zara Noone battled for every ball and showed incredible work rate throughout. Meanwhile in attack, Jayne Catherine Tighe, Jessica Feeley, Kara Feeley, Grace Glavin and Katie Dolan, worked incredibly hard throughout. At half-time, Tulsk held a 2-1 to 1-0 lead. After an incredible battle, there was nothing to separate the two sides, so the two teams must do it all over again at a date and time to be confirmed.
Well done to Tulsk representative who travelled to Carlow last weekend to compete in the Model Making Competition. Well done to Sean who puts his skills, creativity and hard work to the test in very exalted company.

The sympathies of the entire local community are extended to the Cryan family on the passing of Irene Cryan (née Barry_, late of Cootehall, Boyle and formerly Youghal, County Cork. The deceased was wife of Michael Cryan who along with his siblings played football for Tulsk at many grades and is a member of a highly regarded and well respected family. Many people from the wider Tulsk area travelled to Cootehall to extend their sympathies to the Cryan family on their sad and untimely loss. Pre-deceased by her parents David and Mary Barry, her brother Martin and sisters Una and Eithne, the deceased is survived by her husband Michael; children, Conor, Sinéad and Aoife; brothers and sisters, Marian, Ann, Noel, Donie, Kevin, Paul, Orla and Michael; mother-in- law Norrie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and a wide circle of extended family friends and neighbours. The deceased reposed at her home before being removal to St. Michael's Church for Mass of Christian Burial followed by interment afterwards in Kileenan Cemetery. A minute’s silence was observed before Tulsk’s Junior ‘B’ championship encounter at the weekend as a mark of respect towards the deceased.
