New manager for Boyle Family Resource Centre

The appointment of a new manager for the Boyle Family Resource Centre has been announced.

The appointment of Monica Gaffney was announced by the centre’s board of directors.

Monica, who has a wealth of community and financial experience, is known to many in the area from her previous role as manager of the highly regarded 'Mo Chairde' Active Age Day Centre and meals on wheels service in Keadue.

She is passionate about community development and leading Boyle Family Resource Centre into the future.

“Living locally gives her an insight into the needs of the community. She volunteers with Roscommon Older Peoples Network and Roscommon Dementia Alliance and shares Boyle FRC's vision of fostering an inclusive and supportive community where families and individuals can thrive,” said a statement from the board of directors.
