Draiocht na Nollag in Drumshanbo
Students on the Irish Traditional Music Course in Drumshanbo.
A Christmas concert, Draiocht na Nollag, will be staged by participants on the Drumshanbo music course on Saturday, December 6th at the Mayflower Centre.
The concert will raise funds for the Drumshanbo St. Vincent de Paul Society. Tickets cost €10 and are available at the door or online through Eventbrite. Children U-12 are free. Doors open at 7.30 p.m..
Draiocht na Nollag is a one-night-only concert. It will feature students of the Drumshanbo music course and Drumshanbo Vocational School.
The music course was established in 1997, building on the success of the annual Joe Mooney Summer School, attracting students from all over the country and internationally.
Supported and administered by the MSLETB (Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim Education and Training Board), the course is now part of the recently formed Leitrim College of Further Education and Training.
