Drugs worth almost €5.7 million seized and three arrested in Co Clare and Dublin 13

Drugs with an estimated value of €5.688 million have been seized and three people have been arrested in two separate operations in Co Clare and Dublin 13.
The operations took place on Tuesday.
In Co Clare, officers seized 210kg of suspected cannabis with an estimated value of €4.2 million.
The seizure was made as a result of a joint operation by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, Clare Divisional Drug Unit and Revenue's Customs Service.
A man in his 40s was arrested by gardaí and is detained at a Garda station in Co Clare.
Gardaí attached to the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau conducted an operation in Baldoyle in Dublin 13, where diamorphine worth an estimated €1.4 million and cannabis worth an estimated €18,000 were seized.
Subsequent searches in the Dublin area led to the seizure of an additional €70,000 of suspected diamorphine.
Two men, aged in their 30s and 50s, were arrested and are detained at a Garda station in Dublin.
All of the seized drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
