Female cyclist (80s) dies in hospital after crash with truck in Kildare
A cyclist in her 80s, seriously injured in a crash in Co Kildare on Monday morning, has died.
The collision with a car happened on the R414 Rathangan Road in Monasterevin at 9.50am.
She was rushed to the Mater Hospital in Dublin but has since died from her injuries.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was travelling on the road - known locally as the Cow Pastures - between 9.15am and 10.15am on Monday morning to come forward.
