Joanna Sweeney and friends play at the Coleman Music Centre, Gurteen on Wednesday, August 6th at 8 p.m..

Joanna will be joined by Cliodhna Quinlan, Mark Murphy, Paddy Cummins, Padraic Collins and Junior Davey.

Joanna is an Irish traditional musician, performing artist and academic with a Master of Arts in Irish traditional music performance awarded from the Irish World Academy of Music & Dance, University of Limerick focusing on regional styles of Irish traditional music particularly the North Connaught region.

She has played at national festivals, international showcases, TEDx, Bergen Fleadh (2024) and the Trad@Lunch series at the Hawk’s well theatre, Ireland to date.
