Bus stopped after caught speeding on wet County Roscommon road
The bus was stopped by Gardaí on a road in Castlerea.
A bus driver has been issued with a Fixed Charge Penalty Notice after being caught speeding on a wet County Roscommon road.
Roscommon Gardaí were on patrol in Castlerea recently when they discovered the bus travelling at 101kph in a 80kph area.
Road conditions were said to be “wet” at the time.
The bus was subsequently stopped and the driver was issued a Fixed Charge Penalty Notice.
