Caution urged as smoke envelops County Roscommon road

Motorists are being advised to drive with caution on a section of road in County Roscommon this evening, Tuesday, as emergency services investigate the cause of thick smoke that has enveloped the road.
There is zero visibility this evening on the R368 Elphin to Carrick-on-Shannon road for about 100 metres just after a blind bend on the road.
Gardai and emergency services are on their way to the scene to investigate the cause of the smoke.
