A contractor is being sought to build a new clubhouse building at Boyle Celtic football ground.
Boyle Celtic Football Club is currently undergoing a major redevelopment of its grounds at Knocknashee, and the construction of a new clubhouse is the final phase of the development.
The club has advertised the tender for the works on the Government’s online tendering platform with September 9th next set as the time-limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate.
The new clubhouse construction comprises the refurbishment of the existing clubhouse with an internal area of 102 square metres; the construction of a single storey building of 287 square metres as an extension to the existing clubhouse building, and the construction of a small store of 20 square metres at the western end of the building.
To date, the upgrade of playing pitches to ‘all weather’ 4G playing surfaces; the provision of a LED floodlighting system; the erection of security fencing; the construction of surface water drainage outfall, and the construction and surfacing of onsite carparking have all been completed.
The construction of a 160-seater spectator stand is currently underway at the club and will be completed in August prior to the start of works on the new clubhouse.
