County Roscommon set for major jobs boost

The town of Ballaghaderreen is set for a major jobs boost, the Roscommon Herald understands.
It’s understood that about 55 new jobs will be announced shortly for the town.
Welcoming the news, Independent councillor Michéal Frain said: “This is long awaited good news for the area.
"Hopefully it is one of many good news stories coming onstream over the next few months around Ballaghaderreen.”
Details of the jobs are expected to be unveiled in the very near future.
