County Roscommon supermarket owners announce closure 'with heavy hearts'

The owners of Tighe's Centra supermarket in Roosky, County Roscommon have confirmed the closure of the business.

In a statement, the family announced the closure of the popular store.

“It is with heavy hearts that after 28 years in business, we have made the decision to close Tighe's Centra, Roosky.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every person, near and far, who have supported us through the years," they said.

“Your immense support has meant more than you could imagine. In addition, we would like to thank all members of staff who have worked alongside us in providing excellent service to the village of Roosky.

“Without doubt, it was a lot more than just a shop. It was a place where laughs could be shared, stories could be told, memories could be made and we're grateful to have shared that with you,” said the family.
