A Garda investigation is underway following an attempted burglary in the Annaduff area of Carrick-on-Shannon in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Occupants of a jeep with a yellow number plate on the back were disturbed at an unoccupied property.
The raiders left the scene when they were disturbed by the owners of the property. The vehicle was driven at speed in the direction of Dromod/N4.
Homeowners are being asked to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to Carrick-on-Shanon Garda Station on (71) 9650510.
