Three people are due in court in Castlebar this morning.

Gardaí investigating a "serious assault" that occurred in Boyle on the afternoon of Wednesday, February 28th have arrested three people.  

They are due at a sitting of Castlebar District Court this morning.

All three — a female and two males aged in their 30s — were detained at Garda stations in the North Western Region under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. 

They have since been charged and are due before a special sitting of Castlebar Distroct Court this morning, Friday, March 8th.
