The sudden death of popular Roscommon businessman, Padraig Glancy, has left the local community in deep shock.
Owner of Glancy’s SuperValu and post office in Cortober, Mr Glancy's untimely passing is being felt across North Roscommon, the county and wider region.
Before the sad news emerged, he and his post office staff were celebrating the ‘Best Overall Commercial Growth in Ireland’ award earlier in the week at the Postmaster Excellence awards.
Mr Glancy was aged 59.
