Delays expected as two weeks of roadworks set to start
The roadworks are due to be completed by Friday, May 22nd.
Delays are expected for the next two weeks in the Monksland area when road resurfacing begins on Tuesday, May 5th.
The works will be carried out between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., Monday to Friday, and are due to be completed by Friday, May 22nd.
The works will take place on the following roads: L2047 – Bealnamulla; R446 – Monksland and the R362 – Monksland.
Roscommon County Council said there may be delays to traffic on these routes during this period.
A Stop & Go traffic management system will be in operation for the duration of the works.
Emergency services access and local access will be maintained at all times.
The works are being carried out by Roadstone Ltd on behalf of the council.
