Donamon man to represent Roscommon at Mr Personality Festival

Donamon native Kevin Crehan will represent Roscommon at the 19th annual Mr Personality Festival which is being organised by Kilkenny County Macra. The festival will take place over two days, Friday and Saturday, April 10th and 11th.

Kevin is an active member of South Roscommon Macra and has listed The Roscommon mystery tour to Limerick a few years ago as one of his most memorable Macra moments. 

His hobbies and interests include farming, hurling, football, and music.

The thirty-year-old believes he will make a good representative for Roscommon because he will use the title to promote good mental health through sport and fitness.

The contestants will arrive in Kilkenny at 1.30 p.m. on Friday, April 10th where they will embark on their first group activity of the weekend. 

One of the highlights of the festival each year is the on-stage interviews which will kick off at 7 p.m. in The Ballroom at Langton’s Hotel.

The on-stage interviews will be conducted by our MC, Aindriú de Paor from 2FM. 

This will be followed by music from the much-anticipated The Deere Johns and DJ until late. 

Judging the contestants this year will be 2025 Rose of Tralee, Katelyn Cummins, Influencer James Kavanagh and UCD assistant professor, Brian Leonard.

On Saturday morning contestants will have private interviews with the judges. Once the interviews are finished, the contestant’s challenges will take place which will see James being put through his paces. 

Mr Personality 2026 will be announced at 12 midnight.
