An elderly farmer who had no power and heat for 14 days
was brought to hospital suffering from hypothermia.
According to the Irish Independent, the Dunmore pensioner, aged in his 70s, was found by a friend in a weakened and distressed state in his kitchen.
He was suffering from hypothermia and brought to Portiuncula hospital in Ballinasloe.
The man had no power or heat for two weeks in the aftermath of Storm Éowyn.
